One point the author mentions is that innovation for developing countries that increase quality of life. This is significant because it is involved with productivity and consumption activities. First, most Bangladeshan people spend night time withough light;however, if people carefully use electricity from Kamen's power generator, they can spend night time not to sleep but to do valuable activities(Shonfeld). Next, many poor countries suffer from disease because of lack of clean water;however, Kamen's water cleaning machine can solve this problem. Clean wateer is related to health and population;consequently, labor can be increased. By using these machines, agriculture can grow.
